The Discbands Alternate Possession Wristband for Basketball & Lacrosse officials is an easy tool to accurately track alternating possession throughout all basketball and lacrosse levels and baseball umpires to keep track of hitter timeouts per plate appearance. Wear it on your wrist for no-delay reference – White for home, Black for visitors. Flip the disc with each possession change.
BASKETBALL – See the team indicator when making the held ball signal so you can immediately make the right call. After legal throw in, simply rotate the discs in less than 1 second and you’re ready for the next call.
LACROSSE – Works great for the alternating rule in lacrosse that awards the ball to one team and then the other [in alternating fashion] when a call cannot be decided in favor of one side.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Each time there is an alternating possession situation, flip the black and white disc by rotating it upon legal throw-in.
- When the disc has the white side up, it represents the home team. When the black side is up, it represents the visiting team or team with the darker jerseys.
